2009 Acrylic pen on resin sculpture Dimensions variable Back from a trip to the Vatican, Sebastian Errazuriz confesses that to avoid boredom on the plane, he brought with him a resin bust of Pope  John Paul II, wich he bought as a souvenir. Although the artist has not expressed the meaning behind tampering with the religious figure, we can only assume it is another exercise in which he addresses his public condemnation of the Catholic Church, which has banned the use of condoms in Africa while the continent battles an AIDS epidemic.
